Healthy Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients
10 ounces pitted dates
3.5 cups walnuts
2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
1 teaspoon agave nectar

Preparation
1. Line a baking tray or dish, approximately 11 x 7 inches, with baking paper.
2. Place the walnuts in a food processor until finely ground (like flour).
3. Add the dates until they are finely chopped and mixed well with the walnut flour.
4. Add cocoa powder, vanilla essence and agave nectar and blend again until
    the mixture is a sticky dough.
5. If the dough is not sticky, add a teaspoon of water and blend again.
    Add a teaspoon of water at a time until dough is sticky.
6. Place the sticky dough mixture onto the lined tray and flatten down evenly
    until it covers the tray with a layer of mixture approx. 3/4 inch thick.
7. Put in fridge for at least 2 hours before serving.
8. Cut into squares before serving.
9. Serve on their own as a snack or with strawberries, cherries or raspberries
    and natural yogurt as a healthy dessert.
