Broiled Tomatoes with Cheese

Ingredients
3-4 large tomatoes
1/2-3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
    OR 2 balls of fresh mozzarella cut into rounds
Salt

Preparation
1. Set oven to broil.
2. Wash tomatoes. Cut each tomato into four round slices.
3. Lay tomato slices on a rimmed baking sheet or baking stone.
    Sprinkle tomatoes lightly with salt.
4. Sprinkle shredded cheese over tomatoes, or if using fresh
    mozzarella put one slice on each tomato.
5. Broil for 3-6 minutes or until the cheese begins to turn brown.
